Sure, it will freeze well. Just let it thaw and then perhaps reheat it slightly before serving.

And we confirm: it goes very well together with Champagne rosé :)
When we moved to another country a few years ago we promised our sons that in the new apartment they would get the (way too big) Lego set they were dreaming of – so for a start the pure bribery worked wonders :) !
And I am convinced that it is extremely helpful if kids have siblings, so they will be a team in this new adventure!
Good luck in Denmark and all the best from Amsterdam!

Same thing happened to me. I used reduced fat almond flour because that’s what we have in my country and didn’t think of adding a little bit extra butter or maybe olive oil (that would probably taste good too). I was thinking that maybe that’s why my cake was a bit more crumbly.

This is Luca from Italy and Christine from Australia. We made this over Zoom at the same time. It was absolutely fun to make and both our cakes turned out beautiful and tasty. The cake itself wasn’t too sweet despite the honey and the addition of polenta was interesting for me as an Italian.
I normaly use polenta for savoury dishs and not sweet, so I was a bit sceptical. I am on Zoom with Christine right now and she is having the cake:-)

Tip for moving country with kids: make the days/weeks up to the move tangible by writing dates on paper flags and tearing them down as the days pass. Mark each week with a special treat. That is what my mother did when we moved to another country (many yrs ago) and it made the passing of time until the move much easier to grasp as a seven year old.
