I used ingredients I had in the pantry and that included the only flour which was an all purpose Bobs Red Mill flour. I used a can of pumpkin puree and baked it for 60 minutes. The texture was very dense almost like a cheesecake texture. It tastes good and I love the frosting but it is definitely not bread like. Is that because of my flour substitution? I also only had dried dates which I re-hydrated. Its okay to eat, right… :-)

If I was to attempt to make this grain free, what do you recommend substituting the oat flour and buckwheat flour for? Would cassava or coconut work perhaps?

Hi, it’s both. Buckwheat and oat flour. Sorry for the confusion.

Igår var det dags! När den gräddades i ugnen började det dofta ljuvligt. Väldigt, väldigt god.

Frosting is awesome! In the process, I forgot to put olive oil in! I’m looking for to do it again, with all ingredients. Thanks

It it oat OR buckwheat AND rice, or is it Oat, buckwheat AND rice flour?

Thank you :)

Mine turned out really delicious following the recipe. You could lower the temperature a little bit … :-)

We added toasted millet and pepitas for some crunch; great for brunch! It brought some sunshine in our (rather grey) mornings. Merci!

Just baking one right now. I was wondering, do you store this in the fridge or on the counter? Would this be good for freezing by the slice?
