This is my third time making some variation of this (quinoa w/wo herbs, couscous, different vegetables, dukkah from a different recipe). Today I did couscous from Algeria, red beets, golden beets, carrots, onion and celeriac root. This recipe gives a wonderful, delicious combination with lots of room to play. Highly recommended!

I appreciate your text, and agree with you on all of it. I’ve had this same conversation a lot recently, largely thanks to the racism that is strengthened by Trump’s supporters in the US.

I agree that sharing love through food IS important (good thing, since I too have a recipe blog). Food always has been and always will be important for connecting, for discussing and solving issues, for sharing moments and love. Even amongst us who have differing food philosophies, we can still connect over food.

Thank you for having the balls to address these issues.
